Hospice Massage Therapy
Healing Rhythms partners with local hospice agencies to provide compassionate massage therapy for patients at the end of life. These sessions focus on symptom management, relaxation, and enhancing overall well-being during a deeply personal and sensitive time.
Massage at the end of life is different from traditional spa or sports massage. It is tailored to the unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of hospice patients, offering a comforting and meaningful experience that prioritizes dignity and respect.

How It Works
Our massage therapists visit hospice patients in the comfort of their homes, providing gentle, soothing touch tailored to the patient’s needs and preferences.
Customized Techniques: Sessions are adapted to the patient’s physical condition and comfort level, focusing on areas such as the neck, shoulders, low back, hips, hands, feet, or head.
Patient Comfort: Massages are performed with the patient seated in a chair or recliner, or lying in bed. Patients remain fully clothed unless they choose otherwise, and our therapists use techniques to ensure comfort and accessibility.
Deep Relaxation: Gentle hand, foot, and head massages provide profound relaxation and moments of peace.
Customized Sessions
We believe no two clients are the same, and our therapy reflects that. After a comprehensive intake session, your therapist will design a tailored plan that incorporates:
